I was born in Dorset street No57, and my father with his other painter pals would frequent the Dorset Bar in Elderslie Street. I think the owner or manager was called McSherry? It wasn't till I was about 21 when I also had a drink in the Dorset bar! But it had changed to a `yuppy` pub, what a waste. I wounder if anyone remember my ole mates? Dougie Kerr, Robert Martin, The Averies. I went to Kent Road School and hated every moment.
